Leitrim And Roscommon To Battle It Out For TG4 Connacht Intermediate Final Slot

On Sunday, Leitrim and Roscommon battle it out for a spot in the TG4 Connacht Intermediate Final against Sligo on June 23. Sligo qualified for the decider by virtue of their victory over Leitrim last weekend, but there’s a second chance for the Wild Rose county when they meet holders Roscommon at Páirc Naomh Mhuire in Carrick-on-Shannon at 2pm on Sunday (May 19). Post-Primary Schools kit and equipment winners for Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone announced

THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association, in conjunction with Ulster LGFA, is pleased to announce the full list of winners in Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone, who will receive kit and equipment for their schools. Schools in these counties were asked to submit entries via social media, and the response was impressive. Schools responded in their droves, using the hashtag #SeriousSupport and their county name preceded by a hashtag (e.g. #Antrim), telling us why their LGFA School Team deserved to win this great prize. Teams of the 2019 Lidl Ladies National Football Leagues announced

THE Teams of the 2019 Lidl Ladies National Football Leagues have been revealed – with champions Cork leading the way in the Division 1 selection. The players on each of the four divisional teams were chosen by the LGFA’s All Star committee, and the Division 1 team contains players representing five counties. Cork’s march to a first League title since 2017, and a 12th in all, has been acknowledged with seven players on the Division 1 team. SENIORS Training continues for the ladies and they are also entering the Crooked Lake Triathlon. The ladies will enter two relay teams to Camlough Triathlon on 1st June 2019. Their aim is to raise funds for Down LGFA and KBRT, a charity close to the hearts of the team and the county. MINORS  The girls travelled to Belfast to take on Antrim in the C Ulster final.
