THE Ladies Gaelic Football Association is pleased to confirm that next Sunday’s (February 23) Lidl National League Division 3 fixture between Down and Roscommon will be streamed LIVE on the LGFA Facebook Page: http://bit.ly/2OvUJ2D

This is a huge game in the promotion race, as top of the table Down, who have three wins from three outings, welcome third-placed Roscommon to St Mary’s, Burren.

Down are a rejuvenated force this year and Natasha Ferries weighed in with a remarkable haul of 1-14 in the Round 3 victory over Sligo, a fixture that survived Storm Dennis.

Roscommon are also on maximum points, and they have a game against Fermanagh to be factored in after weather twice put paid to it.

Jerome Quinn will be joined in the commentary box on Sunday by Clare Timoney, Antrim’s 2012 TG4 All-Ireland Championship winning captain.

Clare captained Down club Bredagh to county championship glory last year, and she’s also a former O’Connor Cup winner with Ulster University.

Match coverage, which gets underway at 1.45pm, is brought to you by MAC AV.

When the sides met at Dr. Hyde Park in the 2019 National League, just two points separated the sides, as Roscommon ran out 1-7 to 0-8 winners.
