Well Done

It was a busy week for some of our underage footballers, both boys and girls, with their school teams. Firstly, well done to the St Paul’s team on their victory in the Loch an Iuir Shield Final on Thursday, particularly the Shane’s lads on the team – Keegan Grant, Jack McCann, Jamie Beattie, Eoin Cunningham, Ruairi O’Brien and Zak Tyreman. On Tuesday the St Paul’s U16 girls qualified for the Ulster Final – well done to all, particularly the Shane’s girls on the team Cliodhna Grant, Sinead McDonnell, Dearbhla Carragher, Dearbhla Byrne, Rachel McCabe, Paris Boswell, Tara Reel, Aoife Brady, Caoimhe Feehan and Niamh Carragher. Our senior ladies footballer Geraldine McNally was part of their management team along with Stephen Mooney who is part of our senior ladies management team. It proved to be a good week for Aoife Brady, who was not only part of the St Pauls girls’ team but she was also selected to represent Down U16s in 2019.

Onto college football and well done to Aimee and Blaithin Mackin who were both part of the Ulster University GAA Jordanstown ladies team that won the Ladies HEC Division 2 league title on Wednesday evening.

Armagh GAA Club Draw

The very successful Armagh GAA Club draw is running again in 2019. The draw takes place over 4 months -March, April, May and June – with 16 prizes on offer each month. The first prize each month is a Renault Clio, right down to a 16th prize of £200.
Tickets are priced at £100 each with £80 from every ticket going directly to the club after we reach our minimum target of sales. They can be bought by paying the £100 up front or 4 monthly instalments of £25 per month.
Tickets can be purchased from any of our committee members and the more tickets we sell, the more money the club raises. We are encouraging all our club members, families and friends to purchase a ticket either individually or maybe as a group of 4 friends or family members clubbing together at £25 each.
It is brilliant opportunity to raise much needed funds for the club whilst also being in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
